Students
Social, Political and Health EducationWe believe that promoting the health and wellbeing of our students is an important part of their overall education. We do this through our SPHE (Social, Personal and Health Education) and Wellbeing curriculums. SPHE covers many topics including all kinds of relationships, physical/emotional health and the skills needed to live in the wider world. The aim of our SPHE curriculum is to help students make safe and informed decisions during their school years and beyond.
Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) is the statutory element of our SPHE curriculum and all schools are required to teach it. RSE is a carefully planned curriculum and is there to ensure our pupils can navigate the world around them safely. It will be the same curriculum that has been in place since 2016.

Code of Behaviour
Duiske College prides itself on the quality of relationships between students and staff. Within this context Duiske College’s first instinct is to praise and reward students who reach the positive behaviour standards we wish for.
An important part of the school’s Code of Behaviour is the effort made to acknowledge the good behaviour of our students Primarily, the individual teacher praises and affirms good behaviour and constantly liaises with Class Teachers, School Management and the Student Support Team to appropriately reward and highlight incidents of good behaviour.
