ASD Classroom
ASD ClassroomWelcome to Duiske College – A Place Where Every Student Belongs
Duiske College offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all incoming students, built on the KCETB ethos of respect, inclusion, and lifelong learning. We place strong emphasis on community, encouraging students to take part in both academic and extracurricular activities that encourage teamwork, belonging, and local engagement.
Our dedicated guidance service is available to help students with subject choices, career planning and personal support throughout their educational journey. The HSCL (Home School Community Liaison) programme works closely with families to strengthen the link between home, school and community, ensuring every student feels supported. As part of the School Completion Programme, Duiske College provides targeted supports to encourage full attendance, participation, and progression for all learners.
At Duiske College, we believe every young person deserves an education that values their individuality, nurtures their strengths, and supports their challenges.
Our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Classroom and Learning Supports have been carefully designed to provide a safe, structured, and caring environment where students with autism can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We understand that every child learns differently, and at Duiske College we celebrate that uniqueness. Our dedicated team of teachers and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) work together with families to create a learning journey that supports each student’s growth, confidence and independence.

Code of Behaviour
Duiske College prides itself on the quality of relationships between students and staff. Within this context Duiske College’s first instinct is to praise and reward students who reach the positive behaviour standards we wish for.
An important part of the school’s Code of Behaviour is the effort made to acknowledge the good behaviour of our students Primarily, the individual teacher praises and affirms good behaviour and constantly liaises with Class Teachers, School Management and the Student Support Team to appropriately reward and highlight incidents of good behaviour.
